A driveway is the first thing anyone sees at your house, and in North Florida it goes from gray to green and black faster than almost any other surface. Tire marks, oil drips, rust from irrigation, and algae from the shade all pile up on top of each other.
Oil and grease
Water alone pushes oil and grease around. We pre-treat those spots with a degreaser so the oil breaks down and lifts out of the pores before the surface cleaner goes over the slab. Same goes for the grime around garbage can pads and under cars.
No stripes
If you have seen a driveway with light and dark stripes, someone cleaned it with a wand. We use a surface cleaner, a round housing with spinning jets that washes a wide path at even pressure. The slab looks the same all over from the street.
Surfaces we clean
- Concrete driveways, walkways, and sidewalks
- Brick and concrete pavers, including pool decks
- Lanais, screened patios, and porches
- Garbage can pads and side yards
- Exposed aggregate and stamped concrete
Pavers get a lighter touch
We clean pavers at lower pressure with a wider fan so the joint sand stays put. Once they’re clean you can see the true color of the paver again, which on most Beaches homes is a big change. If the joints have washed thin over the years, we re-sand them with polymeric sand at the same visit, and we can seal the pavers once they are clean and dry.
Stains that need extra steps
Rust from well water and sprinklers, battery acid, and fertilizer burns won’t come out with water alone. We carry a product for each and treat them before the main wash. Mention any stains when you book so the crew brings what it needs.
